The Division of Sleep Medicine held its fifth annual Sleep and Health Benefit Dinner on October 5, 2006, at which Massachusetts Senator Richard T. Moore made the keynote address: "Drowsy Driving - There Ought to be a Law!", describing the need for Drowsy Driving legislation, and his efforts to pass such legislation in Massachusetts in the form of Rob's Law. The 2006 Annual Prize in Sleep Medicine was awarded in celebration of the lives and works of J. Woodland Hastings, PhD andMircea Steriade, MD, PhD.
