All trainees funded by or otherwise participating in the Research Training Program in Sleep, Circadian and Respiratory Neurobiology are expected to complete training in grant writing.  

Following is a list of previously-approved courses that fulfill this requirement. Other courses can be substituted with approval from the trainee's faculty mentor and Academic Advisor. Documentation of course completion must be filed with the program administrator.

Writing Grant Proposals
Harvard School of Public Health offers annually this excellent grant writing course during the summer. This course is offered as a series of 3-hour sessions twice per week over the course of a seven week period. 
BWH Office for Postdoctoral Careers Grant Writing Seminars
The OPC sponsors many worthwhile training events, including grant writing seminars. Email the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs for information and to sign up for email updates: BWHPostdocCareers@Partners.org.


Registration opportunities for most of these courses will be announced via the calendar on this website. 

Waivers of certain courses or requirements may be obtained by documenting with the Academic Advisor previous completion of the same or an equivalent course. Documentation of waivers must be filed with the program administrator.
