Dr. Shanthakumar Rajaratnam elected as Fellow to the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences (AAHMS)

Deputy Director of the Turner Institute at Monash University and current HMS Lecturer on Medicine, Part-time in the Division of Sleep Medicine, Dr. Shanthakumar Rajaratnam, has been elected as a Fellow to the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences (AAHMS).

The Academy reserves this distinction for  only the best and brightest minds in the field of medical and health sciences, in recognition of their outstanding achievements and exceptional contributions to the sector.

This year six of the 31 new Fellows came from Monash University, which is an outstanding achievement.

Fellows are acknowledged for their clinical, non-clinical, leadership, industry and research contributions.
