Brigham and Women's Hospital

The Brigham and Women’s Sleep Disorders Service is the only American Academy of Sleep Medicine designated Comprehensive Academic Sleep Program of Distinction in New England for adult patients with sleep disorders. The service also integrates an accredited ACGME clinical fellowship in Sleep Medicine.

The Brigham and Women’s Sleep Disorders Service provides diagnostic and treatment services for patients with sleep-wake disorders at two convenient clinic locations: one at the Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital and another at South Shore Hospital. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of all 90 known sleep disorders, including: Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Insomnia, Narcolepsy, Restless Leg Syndrome, and other sleep disorders. We provide diagnostic Home Sleep Tests and In-lab Sleep Tests, treatment with CPAP, dental appliances, individual behavioral therapy and support groups. We also evaluate patients for hypoglossal nerve stimulation for Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

The Brigham and Women’s Sleep Disorders Service also has two specialty programs. One has doctors with special expertise in the many Neurologic Complications of Sleep including: movement disorders, behavioral disturbances, epilepsy/seizure and stroke.

As many patients with sleep problems also have issues with their sleep wake schedules, the second specialty clinic is the Circadian Disorders clinic. This clinic has physicians with special expertise in circadian rhythm disorders and offers special diagnostic tests and treatments for these conditions.
